The Offspring Reveal They’re Safe After SUV Catches Fire on Tour

The Offspring are safe and sound following a fireplace that ruined just one of their SUVs on Friday although en route to a display in Rimouski, Quebec.&#13

“While traveling through Canada yesterday, a thing flew off the auto in front of us and grew to become wedged underneath just one of our SUVs and it caught fire,” the band wrote on Twitter, exhibiting footage of the car or truck engulfed in flames. “Everyone obtained out securely, but the luggage, passports, laptops and fairly substantially everything else was wrecked.”&#13

Team member Noodles also shared the frightening news on Instagram, putting up photographs of the roasted SUV. “No a single was hurt. All people bought out of the car unscathed. Sadly about fifty percent our crew shed all their possessions in the fire, together with baggage, personal computers, & passports. But it could’ve been substantially even worse. The band & I are so grateful & relieved that all concerned are Alright,” The Offspring guitarist wrote. “No one particular is sure what begun the fireplace but, but the SUV strike a little something huge & heavy, possibly a dropped trailer hitch, and in seconds the car was in flames. You can see from the online video that they didn’t even get off the Highway prior to all people experienced to bail. No time to help you save any possessions. Frightening shit!”&#13

He then gave a special thank you to the band’s crew. “Our crew do all the major lifting so that we search & seem as fantastic as probable when we just take the phase,” he wrote. “They’re travel & workdays are generally more time & a lot more arduous than ours, and we cannot thank them plenty of for all they do. To see them have to go via one thing like this is heartbreaking & terrifying. I am so glad they are all Okay!”&#13
