Genting Group has partnered up with the Universal Studios Group to launch this flagship theme park. This is Southeast Asia’s first ever theme park from Universal Studios. Although the theme park is a smaller version than the ones you typically see in the United States, it still boasts a wide range of rides. One of the major rides available is the Battlestar Galactica roller coaster, of which it claims to be the world’s tallest dueling roller coaster.
Maritime Experiential Museum and Aquarium
The Maritime Experiential Museum is an innovative exhibit that looks at the history of Southeast Asia’s maritime silk trading route between the East and the West. In addition there will be an aquarium that will be built in 2012 that will house exotic aquatic life from the shores in the region. As per the news reports, once the aquarium is completed, it will be the largest one in all of Southeast Asia.
Festive Walk
The Festive Walk is a plaza strip that is open 24 hours, 7 days a week. It contains bars, numerous restaurants, and shops. Furthermore there will are flash dance mobs that will perform at scheduled times during the day. As well, there is a giant fountain called the Lake of Dreams, in which a synchronized water fountain show is performed.
The Casino
The casino at Resorts World is a one level gaming area located in the basement. It boasts the major table games that are popular in Asia, such as Black Jack, and Baccarat. Similar with the Marina Bay Sands Casino, a 100$ levy is required for Singapore citizens and permanent resident holders.
