Drive and dine with a pro race car driver
At the National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky, auto fans can rev up their engines with a pro race car driver. The Andy Pilgrim Driving Experience is available for three days this summer and fall and includes a full day of autocross runs and laps on the track while driving the C8 Corvette. Pro driver Andy Pilgrim will provide feedback and then invite participants to dinner and a reception to share stories from his 37-year racing career.
Grand slam at the ballpark in St. Louis
The Grand Slam packages at the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark include a Deluxe room with infield views of the ballpark. Two tickets to a St. Louis Cardinals game in a lower on-base box section and several Cardinals souvenirs are also part of the special rate, which is eligible for Hilton Honors points earning and benefits. Members can also register to earn double points on two-night stays or triple points on stays of at least three nights between now and Sept. 5.
Lobstering in Maine like an expert
The Chebeague Island Inn in Casco Bay, Maine, is offering a dad-friendly “Luxury Lobstering” package this summer. Guests booking this special offer can take part in a cruise to catch their own lobster before learning to cook it with the hotel’s chef. Other resort activities include everything from lawn games and yoga sessions to biking and access to a nearby beach making it a fun getaway for the family or a group of friends.
Practice your swing this summer around the country
At Mountain Shadows Resort Scottsdale in Arizona, dads and their buddies (or kids) can take advantage of its 18-hole, par-3 course with the Summer Unlimited Golf Pass. Starting at $799, golfers can play unlimited rounds of golf between now and Sept. 18. If you’re a Marriott Bonvoy fan, there’s also “A” Game Retreat package at The Ritz-Carlton Sarasota, which comes with daily access to a practice facility, one-hour private lesson, 18-hole tee time for two people, and a cocktail and cigar pairing experience.
Among the World of Hyatt properties offering golf packages this summer is the Unlimited Play Golf Package at Carmel Valley Ranch, part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, in California. It includes an overnight stay, golf cart and unlimited rounds of golf. The Golf Package at Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa near Austin includes one round of golf per night as well as complimentary breakfast for two. The Fazio Golf Package at Wild Dunes Resort in Isle of Palms, South Carolina (a Destination by Hyatt property), comes with a two nights’ stay, two rounds of golf on the Harbor Course, two rounds of golf on the Links Course, complimentary range balls and $50 resort credit.
Explore outer space at Johnson Space Center
The Space Center Houston experience from The Post Oak at Uptown Houston is a fun way to explore outer space and everything that astronauts experience in orbit. The hotel package includes a private, behind-the-scenes tour of the iconic Johnson Space Center in Houston plus overnight accommodations. It’s a great getaway for buddies or dads with a space-enthused child. Round-trip transportation to the tour and a $500 food and beverage credit at the hotel are part of the deal. Soccer fans from around the world will convene in Qatar this fall for the FIFA World Cup. The national airline of Qatar is planning numerous World Cup travel packages for the occasion. These fan travel packages are available to Privilege Club members in the US and Canada. The airline’s loyalty program is free to join, and these packages include roundtrip tickets from any of the carrier’s 13 North American gateways, hotel accommodations and game tickets in Category-2 corner seats or higher. The packages let members customize the flight class, hotel category and type of seat they want for as many as four games. It’s a great gift for soccer-loving dads.

In Virginia, guests can take George Washington’s Historic Distillery tour at Mount Vernon and sample the whiskey he once distilled. In Denver, the package includes a Colorado whiskey tasting with an educational lesson plus a night in the penthouse Presidential Suite with a bottle of whiskey from a local distillery.
Marriott Bonvoy fans can visit The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner, near Washington for the Dad’s Distillery Day and Stay package. Game day at Hotel Indigo Los Angeles Downtown
Major League Soccer fans have a fun package at Hotel Indigo Los Angeles Downtown, which participates in the new IHG One Rewards program. Starting at $999 throughout the season, the package includes a one-night stay at the hotel, parking, VIP seating at Banc of California Stadium’s Sunset Deck with food and beverage included and an Uber credit to get to the stadium. Learn to sail in Montreal
