Netflix is partnering with sporting functions organizer A.S.O. on a documentary collection about the 2022 Tour de France biking race. With the participation of France Télévisions and created by Quadbox, the series will adhere to the journey of 8 teams taking element in the most world’s most demanding bike race.
The eight episode documentary will hone in on all the actors of the Tour de France, from cyclists to crew professionals in an hard work to fully grasp the many stakes of a race that has turn out to be a real global image, broadcast in 190 territories. A guiding-the-scenes appear at 8 iconic teams — AG2R Citroën Team, Alpecin-Fenix, BORA-hansgrohe, EF Education and learning-EasyPost, Groupama-FDJ biking Crew, Ineos Grenadiers, Crew Jumbo-Visma, Staff Rapid-Move Alpha Vinyl — will be unveiled, from the preparing phase to the complete line.

Filming will get spot from March to July 2022 for a release on Netflix in the 1st semester of 2023. In addition, France Télévisions will broadcast an hour-extended documentary a couple of days before the get started of the Tour de France 2023.
The 2,068 mile Tour starts on July 1 in Denmark with teams battling it out for the yellow jersey by means of grueling hill and mountain stages just before crossing the complete line in Paris on July 24.
